I had my first art show on May 27th. It was at a small dessert lounge in my city and had a great showing! I was shocked at how many friends and coworkers showed up! This may or may not have had anything to do with the promise of a chocolate fountain buffet

I'm not sure if I would ever do another art show but I do have to admit that I learnt A LOT from the experience. I learnt a lot about time management and about quality of work. There is something about getting feedback about your work from people who don't usually see it that really helps put things into perspective for you.

I gotta be honest, there were times throughout the whole art show experience that i thought, will i ever do art again? But the more i think about it, the more i realize that something about it all seemed to evolve my style and my ideas about art itself. I was definitely confronted by a lot of my own personality and artistic shortcomings. Life is a good and honest teacher.
